ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Protesters on Monday, hit the streets of Lagos State to protest against the rising prices of food and the high cost of living in the country, Punch reports.
An X user, DanielChibuzo8, who shared a video of the protest and captioned it in Pidgin stated that, “The protest don reach Ojuelegba under bridge. Olopa mount pass protesters. E come be like say na olopa dey do the protest. On this mandate, we shall stand.”

Meanwhile, the protesters were seen carrying placards of various inscriptions at Ojuelegba under the bridge area of the state to make their grievances known on the current economic hardship across the country.
