ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has issued a cautionary statement, expressing concerns that the popular slogan ‘No gree for anybody’ could potentially ignite crises within the country.
During a press briefing in Abuja, the force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, highlighted intelligence reports indicating the slogan’s capacity to escalate into a crisis of significant proportions.
The catchphrase, widely embraced, particularly on social media, conveys the message of not tolerating any form of nonsense or allowing oneself to be bullied.

Adejobi emphasized that while the slogan may be perceived as “normal talk,” the security community considers it a “dangerous” expression with the potential to trigger crises nationwide.
“The new slogan for 2024 for young people is ‘no dey gree for anybody.’ We have been informed from our intelligence that this is coming from the retributionary sector that might likely cause problems across the country. ‘No dey gree for anybody’ is being seen as just normal talk. In the security community, we have seen it as a very dangerous slogan that can trigger crises,” he stated.
Additionally, Adejobi announced the arrest of three individuals—Ahmed Sulaimon, Balikisu Aliyu, and Aboki Samuel—in connection with the Christmas Eve attacks on communities in Plateau State.
