OGUN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – While it may be the end of Cristiano Ronaldo‘s career, 2023 has shown to be a powerful counterpunch to those who had doubts about his abilities.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been scoring goals for Al Nassr without restriction and shattering records whenever he pleases.

The Portuguese sensation, displaying his voracious instincts, scored twice for his team against Al Etihad in the Saudi Pro League to take the lead in goals scored in 2023.

Ronaldo eclipsed Paris Saint Germain’s kylan Mbappe and Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane who have 52 goals each.

He will now remain the top goal scorer of 2023 since Kylan and Mbappe has no more match to play. while Ronaldo’s final match of the year is against Al-Taawoun on 30 December.

During the match, Ronaldo also hit the post on one occasion, else he could have had a brace for the evening and gone on top of the table.

Ronaldo’s unwavering appetite for goals and his painstaking attention to maintaining optimal physical condition are the keys to his ongoing success.

On the training field, his unwavering work ethic is evident in his explosive moves and clinical finishes.
