(VOICE OF NAIJA) –Alan Fisher, the owner and chef of a Japanese restaurant, has set two remarkable Guinness World Records in the culinary world., thereby, dethroning Hilda Baci as the longest cooking marathon individual.
Fisher from Ireland has cooked for an incredible 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan

Firstly, he clinched the title for the Longest Cooking Marathon individual by clocking in an astonishing 119 hours and 57 minutes, surpassing the previous record held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci by more than 24 hours.
Alan then took on the Longest Baking Marathon individual, completing it in 47 hours and 21 minutes, outshining the previous record holder, Wendy Sandner of the USA, by over 16 hours.
What makes this achievement even more impressive is that Alan conquered both records back-to-back, enduring more than 160 hours in the kitchen with just over a day’s rest in between
