ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A Federal High Court in Abuja has issued a significant order that prohibits the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from denying the authenticity of the NYSC certificate held by Enugu Governor, Peter Mbah.
Justice Inyang Ekwo delivered a pivotal judgment on Monday, confirming that the available evidence in the court substantiated that Governor Mbah had duly participated in the NYSC program and had received a certificate of completion from the NYSC.

Justice Ekwo emphatically stated that the NYSC had misrepresented the facts in its previous claims, which disputed the issuance of the certificate submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of the last governorship election.
The judge further criticized the NYSC for its failure to produce two essential files containing information about Governor Mbah’s involvement in the programme, highlighting what he deemed as a careless approach on the part of the NYSC in handling this matter.
