LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) David Beckham playfully teased Harry Kane after the Bayern Munich star’s remarkable goal from inside his own half during an 8-0 victory over Darmstadt in the Bundesliga.
Kane, the England captain, thrilled the crowd at the Allianz Arena with his sensational strike.
After receiving the ball in the center circle, he looked up and lofted it over the goalkeeper, echoing Beckham’s famous goal for Manchester United against Wimbledon in 1996.
Beckham took to Instagram to congratulate Kane and had some lighthearted banter with the striker, saying, “I mean, I don’t know where you got that idea from @harrykane What a Goal.”
