LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Telegram has released a recent update, introducing a range of new features, including advanced reply options, customization of link previews, and personalized account colors.
While some elements are exclusive to Telegram Premium users, these updates enhance the user experience and interaction within the messaging platform.
One notable addition is the improved reply feature, allowing users to quote specific parts of a message, making responses more precise.
To quote a message, simply tap (or hold on iOS) a message, select the desired text, and then choose “Quote.“
Additionally, Telegram now permits users to reply to messages across different chats, whether it’s a private direct message or a group chat.
By selecting a message to reply to, users can choose “Reply in Another Chat” and select the relevant chat, providing more versatility in conversations.

Telegram has also introduced the ability to format quotes, enabling users to add formatting styles such as bold or italics to quoted messages.
Furthermore, you can include multiple quotes within a single reply.
The update offers greater control when sharing links, allowing users to customize link previews.
You can adjust the thumbnail image size, decide whether the preview appears above or below your message, and choose which link to preview if multiple links are shared in a message. Links can be opened by tapping anywhere within the preview section.
In the Telegram Story section, you can now fast-forward and rewind video stories by holding down on the screen and sliding right or left.
Additionally, users can utilize the front flash feature and adjust its warmth and intensity when taking pictures or videos within the Story segment.
For Telegram Premium users, a significant feature allows for the customization of account colors, allowing users to select a single color or a combination for their account.
This feature extends to Level 5 channels and higher, ensuring a consistent color scheme for various aspects of your account.
