LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A Nigerian man has taken to social media to lament his loss of N35 Million in an online platform known as Patricia, for buying and selling Giftcards and Bitcoin.
The yet-to-be-identified man made the disclosure in a distress post on Sunday, via the Tiktok platform.
The post read: “I am dying silently. I lost 35million on Patricia; All the money I made when I travelled outside Nigeria. I invested all in “MyPatricia.com”. I’m home now and I have nothing left with me.
“Fejiro Hanu please release my money. It’s over 6 months now and your app has been down. Does it mean you have scammed Nigerians? @EFCC please help us retrieve our money,” the post read.
Reacting to the development, Nigerians have taken to the comments session to show sympathy over the post, as others shared similar experiences.

Speaking on his experience, @mrhumblelion posted, “I was scammed too . I trusted these fellows . I’ve evidence I was scammed. I kept writing on their instagram pages asking when my transactions would be ready till date noting . Over four months now . Not a big money but hundreds.”
@eldymtom corroborated his claims saying, “I have said it before now and I will say it again a lot of fintech companies in this country are scam if them like make them don dey around for 30years when it time for them to run them go run, my advise invest what you can afford to lose when e happen.
@Bigstiff1994 added, “Patricia wey na small boy get, you go dey trust genz App, app wey genz create to become rich for himself. Because he used celebrities & bbnaija do PR …. Sorry bro, find the nearest babalawo from ijebu or igbo land.
@tykeyz10 commented, “I sympathize with you and pray you get your money, but it’s not really wise, that you invested all the money you had in Patricia. Com that’s sad.”
