LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Adamawa State Police Command have arrested a 23-year-old disabled person, Sabastine Ayuba for alleged burglary and theft in Adamawa State.
Ayuba was caught while breaking into shops around Jimeta Police barracks, in Yola, the State capital, according to the Police.
The spokesperson for the State command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement on Wednesday, disclosed that Ayuba specialized in breaking into shops and carting away cash.

“On 15/10/2023, operatives of Adamawa State Police Command arrested a 23-year-old physically challenged person who specialised in store-breaking and theft.
“The suspect, Sabastine Ayuba, a resident of Madagali Local Govt Area, broke into shops situated around Police Flyover Jimeta while committing the act at about 01450hrs.
“He broke the wall of three shops in a row from behind. He was arrested while coming out from the famous Kefas Shopping Plaza,” Nguroje said.
Nguroje added that the Police commissioner, Afolabi Babatola, had directed that the disabled ‘burglar’ be charged after the completion of the ongoing investigation.
