ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A Magistrate’s Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, has ordered the detention of two individuals, Musa Aliyu and Idris Aliyu, on charges related to the alleged homicide of their 54-year-old uncle, Muhammed Abubakar.
Both brothers are residents of Kaiama in Kaiama Local Government of the State,
According to police reports, the suspects are accused of causing the death of their uncle, leaving their father to make the grim discovery upon his return home.

The Kwara State police command brought formal charges against the two suspects before the Magistrate’s court in Ilorin, the state’s capital.
During the court proceedings, Police Prosecutor Gbenga Ayeni requested the continued detention of the suspects, pending the completion of the ongoing investigation.
The trial Magistrate, A.A. Isah, subsequently ruled in favour of the remand and set the case’s next hearing for 1 November 2023.
