“Some might consider fishing a strange pastime, so when people discover it, they often say, ‘Why would you enjoy such an odd sport?’
“They don’t quite grasp the appeal. I think it’s the perfect way to relax, give my legs a break, and unwind,” he explained.
Foden has had a strong start to the season, contributing one goal and assisting in three more across six Premier League matches.
He’s set to return to action in an EFL Cup third-round fixture against Newcastle United on Wednesday evening.
