LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A 43-year-old teacher, Joshua Olufemi, has allegedly defiled a 13-year-old male pupil in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The suspect, a mathematics teacher of the Heritage Group of Schools in Ofada Town, in the said LGA of the State, is alleged of having carnal knowledge of the minor through the pupil’s anus no fewer than six times at different times inside his room.
Punch reports that, according to a source, who pleaded anonymity, the mother of the pupil identified simply as Stella, said her son told her that the suspect had been carrying out the act during lesson hours on the suspect’s bed.

Following the revelation, the mother was said to have approached the Owode Egba Divisional Police Station to report the matter.
The Police in the division were said to have begun an investigation into the matter after arresting and detaining Olufemi for the alleged crime.
While confirming the incident and suspect’s arrest to journalists, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Odutola Omolola, said an investigation was ongoing to unravel more details about the teacher’s conduct.
