LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old man, Jafaru Adamu for the alleged rape of his 21-year-old neighbor’s wife in Hong Local Government Area of the State.
A statement by the State Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, noted that the suspect on 15 August, took advantage of the absence of the survivor’s absence to commit the heinous act.
“Investigation, so far reveals that the suspect was wearing a black face mask and also carried a knife which he used in threatening the victim to comply with his demands.
“Unfortunately while committing the act his mask fell off. He thereafter fled the crime scene through the window after the survivor recognized him,” Nguroje disclosed.
