LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – ITV has officially announced its reacquisition of the UK broadcast rights for the England national team, reclaiming them from Channel 4 after Euro 2024.
Previously, the broadcasting rights had been shared between ITV and Sky Sports until Channel 4 secured exclusive rights for Nations League and Euro qualifiers until the conclusion of next summer’s European Championship in Germany.
Starting with Euro 2024, ITV will share coverage with the BBC before taking over fully.
The England men’s national team will enjoy free-to-air coverage for all their qualification and tournament fixtures until June 2028, marking the end of another Euros cycle.

“We have an experienced team here who are looking forward to bringing viewers all the action and insight from England’s qualification campaigns in the coming years.“
In addition to this, ITV holds broadcast rights for the England women’s national team until 2025 and shared rights for the 2023 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The network boasts an extensive sporting portfolio that includes Six Nations rugby, EFL highlights, La Liga, the Tour de France, NFL, Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, snooker, and darts.
Currently, they are the exclusive broadcaster of the Rugby World Cup in France.
