LAGOS, Nigeria ((VOICE OF NAIJA) –YouTube is currently experimenting with a new feature that causes the ‘Subscribe‘ button to illuminate whenever content creators ask viewers to subscribe in their videos.
This test feature, spotted in various content, suggests that YouTube has fully automated this process.
Additionally, YouTube is exploring other new features, such as allowing users to hum tunes to search for songs and redesigning the ‘Skip Ads‘ button.
As reported by 9to5Google, the YouTube ‘Subscribe‘ button now glows in response to creators’ requests for subscriptions in their videos.
Typically, content creators use customized animations to encourage subscriptions, but this new test feature highlights creators’ requests by making the actual “Subscribe” button glow.

This feature has recently appeared for some users, and it appears that YouTube has automated the process.
YouTube is also testing a feature that allows users to search for songs by humming a portion of the tune.
Initially, this feature will be tested by a select group of Android users before potentially being rolled out to a broader audience.
Furthermore, YouTube is working on a redesign of the ‘Skip Ads‘ button. The new button appears smaller than the previous one, with the word “ads” no longer capitalized.
The updated design includes an angled border and smaller letters.
