LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Heavy rainfall, coupled with a fallen truck, has caused gridlock on Otedola Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority made the disclosure in a tweet via the X platform earlier today.

The tweet, alongside a video of the fallen truck, was shared on the agency’s X handle with the caption, “A fatal accident involving an upturned loaded (wheat) truck that has taken a lane on Otedola bridge in Ojodu Berger.
“Traffic is a bit slow coupled with the flooded portion on the bridge. “Effort is on for the recovery of the contents and the truck from the road.”
Many commuters have been stuck in gridlock in different parts of Lagos since the early hours of today as several highways are flooded due to the heavy downpour.
