American Pop icon Beyonce Knowles, on Monday, took to social media to share a rare photo with both of her parents – Tina and Matthew Knowles – to the delight of her 317 million followers.
The Renaissance singer, who recently performed in Los Angeles, uploaded a slew of images from her 42nd birthday celebration.
In the photo with her mother and father, the mother-of-three wore a big smile on her face as her dad, 71, and mom, 69, kissed either side of her face.
The capture was in black and white, adding a layer of sentimentality to the intimate moment.
Also included in the carousel were photos of the Houston-bred entertainer celebrating her special day with her husband Jay-Z.
Beyonce’s parents were married from 1980 until 2011, and in addition to her, they share a daughter, Solange, 37.
In other outtakes from her ‘B-Day,’ the mogul wore a different look — an oversized metallic silver jersey that she partially tucked into frayed denim shorts.
The ensemble was styled with striking, thigh-high silver boots with creases down the centre.
Featured in the photos was an elaborately created birthday cake topped with a disco ball.
The Grammy winner shared a capture that was snapped right before she blew out her candles.
Pictured clapping nearby was her husband of 15 years, with whom she shares Blue, 11, and Rumi and Sire, 6.
Recall that Beyonce celebrated her birthday earlier this month in the midst of her Renaissance World Tour. So many celebrities attended her show in Los Angeles on her big day. That included one of her biggest superstar fans, who joked about the request to dress up in chrome and silver.
