LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Operatives of the Adamawa State Police command have arrested four Cyber Crime suspects who allegedly use Computer network devices to defraud people.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, identified the suspects as Jamilu Abubakar; 21, Asab Vitalis; 18, Honest Zubairu; 16, and Paul Ladan Vanasha; 17, all residents of Shagari Phase 2, Yola South.
The suspects are alleged of hacking into people’s accounts to transfer their money using advanced techniques and skills.

According to Nguroje, investigations so far, reveal that the suspects have been committing the crime since December 2022.
He added that as part of efforts to tackle Criminal activities and other related offences, the Commissioner of Police CP Afolabi Babatola is working to deepen intelligence and strengthen security in the state.
CP Babatola also directed that the suspects be arraigned in court upon completion of investigations and called on those falling victims to be watchful and report any suspicious person to the nearest Police Station.
