Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II, has paid a visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State.
The prominent traditional ruler and the former President later visited the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, in his palace.

The former President also presented a royal horse to the Benin monarch.
Since his return to Daura, his home town, on 29 May after the completion of his terms as President of Nigeria, Buhari has continued to receive dignitaries at his residence.
