The award was presented to him in person at the Lowry Theatre in Manchester. The winger played a catalytic role in propelling Arsenal to their most successful season in nearly two decades, leading the Premier League standings until Manchester City caught up in May.
With 14 goals and eight assists, Saka shone under the guidance of Mikel Arteta.
In addition to surpassing Haaland and Caicedo for the Young Player of the Year Award, the 21-year-old outpaced his Arsenal teammate Gabriel Martinelli, Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, and Brighton’s teenage striker Evan Ferguson.
Saka’s next appearance is slated for Arsenal’s clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
