LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A teenaged armed robbery suspect, Sunday Ojo, has confessed to partaking in more than 40 robbery operations in Ondo State.
The 16-year-old nicknamed Oyenusi made the confession on Monday while being paraded by the State Police Command.
Ojo who was arrested by the Ondo State Security Network Agency also known as Amotekun Corps, alongside two other robbery suspects, 13-year-old Timileyin Femi, aka Anini and 16-year-old and Matti Lowe, aka Osunbo.
The suspect made the disclosure in an interview with journalists while being paraded alongside other suspects.

“l have lost count of the robbery operations I have been involved in. But they can’t be fewer than 40. I was overwhelmed by an evil spirit that motivates me to steal,” he said.
The State Commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, described Ojo as a second-time armed robbery suspect.
“We have arrested a juvenile robber, who adopted the name of notorious Nigerian armed robber, Oyenusi.
“We re-arrested the young boy we arrested three years ago for illegal possession of firearms and robbery and took him to a juvenile home.
“At that time, he was 13 years. The best we could do was to hand him over to a juvenile and see if he could be rehabilitated.
“Now, he is 16. This time, he broke into several shops and removed items. Between then and now, he confessed that he had engaged in over 40 housebreaking activities.”
