ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is reportedly planning to inaugurate the new cabinet members on Monday, 21 August, 2023.
Reports say after running without a full cabinet for over 75 days, Tinubu looks forward to confronting the nation’s social and economic challenges head-on with the planned inauguration.
After the Senate confirmed 45 out of 48 ministerial nominees last week Monday, concerns grew among Nigerians about the prolonged absence of a functioning cabinet.
This delay prompted anxieties within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership, business circles, and the general populace.

As the week unfolds, sources within the presidential villa informed that President Tinubu’s agenda does not include the swearing-in of ministers.
However, it has been gathered that arrangements are underway in the offices of the Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Government of the Federation for the upcoming cabinet inauguration.
The impending ministerial retreat adds to the anticipation, where the newly sworn-in ministers will undergo induction and commit to the faithful implementation of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda through signing a service charter.
