ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A 26-year-old man named Franklin Akinyosuyi, suspected to be involved in internet fraud (‘Yahoo boy’), was apprehended by the anti-crime section of the Ondo Police Command, in Ondo town, the headquarters of Ondo West Local Council Area in Nigeria.
The arrest came after he was found with a human skull and fetish items.
The discovery was made when the landlord’s children noticed the human skull hidden in a black sack in a section of the suspect’s living compound.
They alerted the police, who then conducted a search and found various human parts, blood, fetish items, and charms, incriminating the suspect.
The Police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, confirmed the arrest and stated that the suspect is currently under interrogation.

Initially claiming to be a photographer and boutique store owner, the suspect later admitted to obtaining the items from a herbalist in Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State.
“The suspect (Akinyosuyi) was challenged by his landlord for keeping a bag in the corner of the compound. The landlord became suspicious and asked the young man to open the bag, when he did, a human skull was found in the bag.
“After he was arrested, he claimed it was given to him by a native doctor in Osun state to enhance his business, but the investigation is ongoing, and the suspect is in custody,” the Police spokesperson said.
