ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, has called for the implementation of new laws that require compulsory drug testing for individuals seeking public office in Nigeria.

Expressing concern over the prevalence of drug abuse among holders of public offices in the country, the emir firmly asserted that, “Governments at all levels should establish new legislation against drug abuse and mandate drug tests for all aspiring public office holders.”
