LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Luis Suarez is willing to buy out his Gremio contract in order to play alongside Lionel Messi again this season at Inter Miami.

Suarez, who signed a two-year contract with Gremio earlier in 2023, is keen to play with his close friend and former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi once more at Inter Miami.

ESPN Brasil reports that the Brazilian club is aware of the striker’s wish to quit the team and may approve the transfer since the club does not want to continue with a player who is hesitant to stay.

The seasoned Uruguayan striker is prepared to reach a settlement with his present club by offering to pay back all of his 2023 earnings to date as well as some additional sums.

Suarez has already found a place at Inter Miami, but Gremio coach Renato Gaucho has acknowledged that Suarez has turned into “a problem” for Gremio since he wants to go.

Tuesday’s Leagues Cup match between Inter Miami and Atlanta United will be the team’s next game.
