LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Rasmus Hojlund and Manchester United are said to have reached a personal agreement, and the Red Devils are prepared to make an initial transfer offer for the Atalanta striker.
Fabrizio Romano reports that following a personal agreement with Hojlund, the Red Devils are prepared to make their first formal approach for the Danish international.
The Premier League’s juggernauts have narrowed in on La Dea hitman Hojlund after Erik ten Hag made it clear that he wants a striker to partner with Marcus Rashford.
United has been in contact with the Serie A team and had previously proposed cash plus players, including Fred and Donny van de Beek, but Atalanta flatly rejected the proposal.
They’ve set a minimum asking price of €70 million (£60 million/$78 million) for Hojlund and demand that the entire sum be paid in cash.

However, the FFP limitations might make it difficult for United to pay the price. So, in order to complete the transaction and adhere to the rules, they must sell.
They have also been watching Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina since they want to bolster their lineup with a midfielder.
The Red Devils are interested in a number of midfielders, including the Moroccan. Leon Goretzka of Bayern Munich has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Hojlund’s contract with Atalanta runs through 2027, giving the Italian club the upper hand in talks because they won’t be in a rush to sell.
