ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has announced Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon, as the new minority leader in the Senate.
Mwadkwon is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Plateau State.
Also, Senator Oyewumi Olalere (PDP, Osun) was announced as the Deputy Minority leader of the National Assembly.

On the other hand, Senator Darlington Nwokocha of the Labour Party (LP), Abia State, will serve as the Minority Whip, while Rufai Hanga of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Kano State, will serve as the deputy Minority Whip.
These developments were confirmed by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on the floor of the Senate during Tuesday’s plenary.
