LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain forward, was fined 16 million reais ($3.3 million/£2.6 million) for constructing a lake at his Brazilian estate.

At that point, construction was stopped, and Neymar was now responsible for the consequences of having disregarded the planning regulations and permitted construction to proceed without the necessary permits.
A statement from the council concerned says four fines have been issued for “environmental violations in the construction of an artificial lake at the player’s mansion”.
It goes on to say that “dozens of infractions” have been detected and point out that Neymar is “carrying out work subject to environmental control without authorization”.
