LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Newcastle United will probably ask whether Conor Gallagher of Chelsea and Kalvin Phillips of Manchester City are available.
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle United is looking for a left back, two central midfielders, and intends to ask about the availability of English midfielders Conor Gallagher and Kalvin Phillips.
There have been rumors Gallagher would leave the Blues this summer, but Mauricio Pochettino’s hiring might give the England international more chances to play under the new system.
In his first season at Manchester City, Kalvin Phillips has had few opportunity to work with Pep Guardiola, but the former Leeds United player has stated that he intends to stay at the club and compete for a position under the Spanish manager.

After paying £52 million to acquire Sandro Tonali from AC Milan this year, Newcastle has a restricted spending plan for further acquisitions.
They intend to scour the best European clubs for underperforming players who might join them on short-term loan deals because of this.
The Saints’ demand of £30 million has sent Newcastle away since the club is unwilling to pay more than £21 million.
The Magpies had also been attempting to recruit Southampton’s Tino Livramento.
