LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Al-Nassr have officially announced transfer of Inter player Marcelo Brozovic to Croatia by taking a shot at Barcelona.
Brozovic joins Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr and becomes the most recent player to leave a prominent European league for Saudi Arabia.
The 30-year-old was desired by Barcelona, who are looking for a replacement for club veteran Sergio Busquets at the base of midfield, but he chose to go to the Middle East instead.
According to reports, Brozovic has a three-year deal with Al-Nassr that will pay him more than €35 million (£30 million/$38 million) annually.

The club is one of four Saudi teams pursuing top-tier European footballers this summer.
Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea may be the next famous player to switch to Al-Nassr.
