LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – No fewer than seven persons reportedly escaped death when a Lexus RX 350 vehicle rammed into a stationary truck on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Following the crash that occurred around 1pm on Otedola end of the expressway, emergency responders who stormed the scene, rushed a yet-to-be-identified driver to the hospital for prompt treatment.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos State, Babatunde Farinloye, said the crash was caused by speeding, adding that seven persons were involved in the crash.
He said: “The stationary vehicle developed a mechanical fault. The car that was coming rammed into the vehicle from the rear. It was a case of speeding and impatience.
“Seven people were involved. Five adults and two children, only the driver was injured, no death, but the vehicle was badly damaged. We sent an ambulance there and they were able to get the victim to the hospital.”
