ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Footages from Paris, where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with some Nigerians on Friday, 23 June, show excitement on the faces of the attendees.

President Tinubu is in France for the Summit on New Financial Pact where some other Heads of State are also in attendance.

On Friday, the Nigerian President had his first engagement with Nigerians in Diaspora since his inauguration, and it seemed quite interesting from the footage obtained by voiceofnaija.ng.

Nigerian-Austrian football star, David Alaba, was also among those who met with Tinubu in Paris, and even gave the Nigerian Leader a replica of his team’s jersey with his name at the back.

President Tinubu is expected back to the country this weekend, as Nigerians continue to look forward to the composition of his cabinet following recent appointments across different parastatals.
