Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have recovered hard drugs after raiding the apartment of a cab man identified as Godwin Ejiro.
The drugs found in his residence include, cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud.
The NDLEA Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page on Sunday.
Ejiro Babafemi said he sells illicit drugs to young people and hides the drugs inside plastic tables in his room.
He said: “This fellow is a taxi driver but beneath that, he destroys the lives of innocent young people in the community selling them cocaine, heroin, meth, swinol, and loud. The shocker is where he hides the drugs in his house as the video here shows when #ndlea_nigeria officers raided his home.”
This is coming barely one week after Operatives of the Agency uncovered a secret laboratory producing Methamphetamine in the Ikeja area of Lagos state. Several sachets of the drug alongside chemicals used in the production were also recovered.
NDLEA operatives stormed the lab located at No. 4 Bode Oluwo Street, Mende, Maryland Ikeja, on Tuesday 6 June, and recovered one kilogram of already produced and packaged methamphetamine. Efforts to apprehend the owner of the house are still ongoing.
