The remains of late Mrs. Jane Nnamani, wife of former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, was laid to rest in Amechi-Uwani Community, Enugu State on Friday, 16 June.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, state governors including the Governor of Enugu state, Peter Mbah, Kwara state governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, Peter Obi and many others attended the funeral.
Some Nigerians who attended the funeral became uncontrollable when the Labour Party presidential candidate in the last election, Peter Obi, arrived the venue of the funeral in Enugu state on Friday, 16 June.
A viral video shows security agents trying to control the crowd as they thronged to catch a glimpse of Obi and if possible touch him.
Late Mrs. Nnamani died on 4 May from complications from diabetes.
