ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu may have suspended Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), if reports making the rounds on the social media are anything to go by.
This report is coming on the heels of the suspension and subsequent arrest of Godwin Emefiele, the erstwhile governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

As at the time of filing this report, the details of the suspension were still sketchy, as no official statement had been released.
However, voiceofnaija.ng checks revealed that the suspension may have been unconnected to investigations currently ongoing into the activities of the NNPCL under the leadership of Mele Kyari.
