LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Popular American rapper, Aubrey Drake Graham, AKA Drake has claimed he may be Nigerian following the outcome of a recent ancestry test by his family.
Sharing his Dad’s ancestry results on social media, Drake revealed he is 30% Nigerian.
He made the disclosure on 7 May in a post on his Instagram page.
According to the screenshot, which the singer shared on his verified Instagram account story which has thoroughly thrilled his Nigerian fan base, his father’s DNA is 30% Nigerian; 28% Cameroonian; Congolese and Western Bantu; 11% Ivory Coasterian and Ghanaian; and 8% West and Northern European.
He wrote, “This is my dad’s results, does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?”
His recent revelation has since stirred reactions from his Nigerian fans:
