ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Flights have been delayed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday, following a Max Air plane crash-landing incident on the tarmac.
Also, it was gathered that the tyre of the plane burst into flames.
Sam Hart, a former aide to the Governor of Abia state, Okezie Ikpeazu, also confirmed the incident.
Confirming the incident on his Twitter page, he wrote: “Airline (name withheld) had an emergency landing at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Everyone is fine.
“Flights out of Abuja airport delayed for hours as arrangements are being made to evacuate the aircraft from the tarmac. Good afternoon.”
