LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has pleaded with Bruno Fernandes to “take on board” Jadon Sancho’s “just stop moaning” comments during United’s victory over Aston Villa.
Marcus Rashford’s goal-bound attempt was spilled by Emiliano Martinez in the 39th minute at Old Trafford, and Fernandes scored the opening goal for United which ultimately separated the two teams.
However, the Red Devils created a lot of opportunities after a strong start to the game in the first half, one of the maneuvers didn’t work out as planned, which made Fernandes angry and led him to accuse Sancho of being responsible.
But the winger was seen yelling at his captain and telling him to “stop moaning” before continuing the game.
English international Fernandes has earned the support of United great Neville, who hopes that Fernandes would “take on board” the criticism in the correct spirit and change his behavior on the field.
