PHOTOS: Slain Lagos-Based Lawyer Bolanle Raheem Buried Amid Tears

IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Omobolanle Raheem, the lawyer who was shot dead on Christmas Day in Lagos, has been buried in the Ikoyi area of Lagos on Tuesday, 17 January.

The funeral service of the slain lawyer has been held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Olive Tree Parish, in Ikoyi Lagos State.

The legal prosecutor was shot dead by a Police Officer on Christmas Day, December 25, 2022, in Ajah area of the State.

Bolanle was pregnant with a set of twins when she was murdered by the Police Officer.

Her funeral service was attended by her family members, friends, and other sympathizers.

The Cable confirmed this development through a post shared on its Twitter page on Tuesday, 17 January, accompanied by pictures.

Meanwhile, the embattled Police Officer, Drambi Vandi of the Lagos state police command, accused of killing a female lawyer, Raheem Bolanle, has pleaded not guilty in court.

Voiceofnaija.ng had earlier reported that the suspended Vandi was arraigned on Monday, January 16 before the Lagos state high court, Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) annex.

The embattled Police Officer was reported to have been arraigned before the high court on a one-count charge of murder.
