IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday, celebrated his wife, Ibijoke, as she turns a year older.

The Governor shared a picture of himself and his wife via his Instagram account on Sunday and wrote: “Today I celebrate a jewel of inestimable value, my partner, prayer warrior, mother of my children and the First Lady of Lagos, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwoolu.

“Thank you for your strength, selflessness and sacrifice, as we paddle the waters of governance in the state.

“You have been gracious and understanding even in the face of challenges that come with the office. You have stood up and shown up for me, and I truly appreciate you.

“Thank you for holding forth on the home front, while juggling the role of the First Lady. Happy Birthday my darling wife and soulmate. God bless you.”
