LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the National Security Council meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Those in attendance are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Boss Mustapha; the National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd.), and the Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao.
The Minister of Defence, Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi (retd.); Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; and Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi are among the attendees.
Also in attendance are the Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Usman; the Director-General of the Department of State Service, Yusuf Bichi; and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar and the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Maj. Gen. Samuel Adebayo.
