IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigerian Twitter Commentator, Daniel Regha has said Davido’s relationship with Chioma Rowland a.k.a Chef Chi isn’t solid if he has to wait till next year to marry her.
The tweep stated this shortly after the singer whose real name is David Adeleke, announced that he will wed his fiancee, Chioma Rowland a.k.a Chef Chi in 2023.
The Afro-pop singer’s announcement sent social media into frenzy when a video of him making the announcement went viral.
He disclosed this after UK-based Nigerian Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega who gifted Chioma, a Hermes Birkin bag reportedly worth 70million Naira, hailed her as “our wife, our real wife.”
Adding to Pastor Tobi’s comment, Davido said “100 percent, going down, 2023.”
Reacting to the news, Daniel Regha said Davido is not serious as he has been making promises to marry Chioma since 2019.
In his own words, Regha said: “Davido has been making promises to marry Chioma since 2019, he’s n¤t serious. Why must it be in 2023? There’s nothing stopping him from tying the knot now, 2022 has about 12 weeks left. His relationship with Chioma d¤esn’t look sol!d, but good luck to him & his entire family.”
His tweet has since sparked reactions on the micro blogging platform.
Reacting to his tweet, a tweep @blaqstarr said: “Person wey no get reach 5k for aza dey advise millionaire…Daniel, ori e ti yiii😂”
Korede also throw a jab at Daniel, whose comments do not always sit well with netizens.
He said: “Na wetin concern you for the matter me I no con know.”
According to Mahkay: “You just dey chase clout, specifically on Davido, Don’t u get tired cos am tired of reading your comment someone’s personal personal life, na u be human right activist, wole soyinka, prosecutor, counselor. you’re too perfect to be on twitter, Check yourself Proff.”
@davidelana5 subtly agreed with Daniel as he tweeted: “Why must you shake dis table na 😂”
Iam_willyz held a different opinion from those who attacked Daniel. “He said it to reassure chioma, because women always need assurance from their man… we won’t be surprised if they don’t tie the knot.”
