ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Enugu government has called on public, private and mission primary and secondary schools in the state to comply with the new school calendar or face sanction.
This is made known in a new school calendar circular released Friday by the Enugu State Commissioner For Education, Uche Eze and signed by the Director of Schools, P.A Ochi.

He said, “Consequently, the Enugu State Ministry of Education shall on September 27 monitor schools compliance across the state according to the uniform calendars.”
In the 2022/2023 approved school calendar, the first term will begin on 26 September, 2022, and close on 16 December, 2022, while the second term will commence on 9 January, 2023, and closes on 31 March, while the third term would start on 24 April and end on 28 July, 2023.
