LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Deji Adeyanju, Rights activist and the Convener of Concerned Nigerians, has said that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), “is just wasting his time” by meeting Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and some other governors.

Atiku had met with Wike in London on Thursday, hours after reports emerged that the duo were expected to meet in the United Kingdom.

Governors Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Abia State’s Okezie Ikpeazu were pictured together with Atiku and Wike during the meeting.

Reacting to the London meetings, Adeyanju claimed that Wike and his associates have resolved to work for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that they “have extracted serious agreement from him (Tinubu)”.

“Atiku is just wasting his time by going to meet these people. They are already committed to working for Tinubu and have extracted serious agreement from him. Every other thing is film and acting.

“This is the only election season where opposition are meeting ruling party folks,” Adeyanju wrote on his known Twitter handle on Thursday night.
