Gunmen have abducted no fewer than 25 choristers of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Oke Igan, Akure, the state capital, according to reports. They were abducted around 3 p.m. on Friday, September 29, while travelling to Ifon in the Ose council area of the state for a burial ceremony. Barely 20 hours after their abduction, the Ondo State Police Command on Saturday said it had rescued eight out of 25 people who were kidnapped on Friday.
