The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is seeking monetary compensation for the family of Mrs. Bolanle Raheem from the government of Lagos State, the Federal Government, Nigeria Police Force and the Police Service Commission, through its Human Rights Committee. An officer of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has been injured following an attack by members of the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria. According to reports, LASTMA accused the tricycle operators in Lagos of attacking its officers with dangerous weapons while they were on official duties in the Ojota area of the State. Adedeji Adesola, a receptionist at Hilton Hotel, where Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, was murdered, testified in court on Friday.
