Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Lagos Federal High Court has struck out the entire forfeiture lawsuit filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission against Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, for lack of jurisdiction to entertain it. The United Nations, through one of its watchdog committees, has called on the government of Iraq to stop the practice of forced disappearances and abductions, which the figures showed a damning rise in the past five decades.
