Lagos State Police Command spokesperson SP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Saturday, confirmed the arrest of three persons over the death of Dr Vwaere Diaso at the General Hospital in Lagos. Hundeyin, who did not mention the identities of the suspects, said that the Police had begun an investigation into the case. Four accident victims have been rescued by operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority at Adeniji Adele inward Oyebanji area of Lagos Island. The Nigeria Police Force has commenced investigation into the killing of a father of three by an officer near a popular bar in Elekahia, Port Harcourt Local Government Area of Rivers State. The officer who is an operative attached to the Police Mobile Force, 43 Squadron in Gombe State, allegedly shot the man identified as Olafuro Peterside, dead.
