A middle-aged man has lost his life and three others were injured in a road accident that occurred in Ilorin, Kwara State capital. The accident reportedly involved four persons, who were riding on a motorcycle on Eid-el-Fitr day in Ilorin. The three other people on the bike, which rammed into a vehicle, sustained serious injuries. The Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Sunday Dare, has announced the temporary closure of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. He ordered the closure due to the collapse of a floodlight mast. Mr. Dare made this known in a statement after inspecting the collapsed floodlight mast. A severe rainstorm that hit Oko Oshimili South Local Government Area of Delta State has killed six persons and left five injured. The rainstorm which wreaked havoc, destroyed buildings in Okwe and Issele-Azagba among others.
