ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Department of Development Control, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has warned former owners of 165 revoked lands in the FCT to stay clear of the properties or be prosecuted. Mukhtar Galadima, an FCTA director, gave the warning when his team foiled an attempt by some of the owners of the revoked lands in Maitama, Abuja, to continue development on the sites. ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Information Minister, Mohammed Idris, says the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) will consider President Bola Tinubu’s government’s offers to suspend their planned strike. (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Fifteen houses and several farmlands were reportedly destroyed by a rainstorm that wreaked havoc in the Iyah Gbedde community in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi. The incident occurred between Tuesday and Thursday and left the community Town Hall in ruins. ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- On Thursday, the Joint Task Force of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) crushed more than 470 motorcycles impounded for operating illegally in Abuja. The task force impounded the motorcycles during an operation from the Carwash Bus Stop, Lugbe, through Gosa, Bill Clinton Drive, Trademore Estate, Lugbe Junction and Kubwa. Over 400 motorcycles were earlier impounded and crushed on August 31 during a similar operation for the same offence.
